About Zubair
Zubair Zafar founded Pixelense after spending years on the production side of e-commerce photography — running studio shoots, retouching catalogs, and watching brands struggle with the same problem on every product launch: high-end imagery costs too much and takes too long.
When generative AI image models matured enough for commercial use in 2024, Zubair built Pixelense to bridge the gap. The studio now serves Shopify stores, Amazon sellers, and DTC brands across the US, UK, and Europe — producing campaign-ready visuals in 24 to 72 hours.
What Zubair writes about
- Prompt engineering for product imagery — how to translate a brand brief into a reproducible prompt that survives revisions.
- Brand consistency across catalogs — keeping lighting, texture, and color identity stable across hundreds of SKUs.
- AI vs. traditional studio economics — the actual cost, speed, and quality tradeoffs (not the marketing version).
- Platform-specific imagery — Shopify hero shots, Amazon main listings, Instagram carousels, and the spec differences that matter.
- Workflow at scale — how a small team can deliver 500+ images a month without losing quality control.
Editorial policy
Every article on the Pixelense blog is reviewed against real client projects. Pricing claims, turnaround times, and workflow descriptions reflect the studio's actual delivery numbers, not industry averages. When a technique only works for a specific category (jewelry, food, fashion), we say so explicitly.
